The top down adventure is now confirmed for production!
The Basics: Tim the Flazo is a top-down view action game. You play as Tim (no duh) and his friends, whom you'll meet on the way. Basically, you have to retrieve 25 special jewels in order to render up the power to defeat an evil force, Ethan Pancuilli (or the Darklord), who plans to turn the planet into a wasteland fit for his horrendous experiments.
The Gameplay: As stated, the game is top-down view. Although you don't have upgradable stats like attack, speed, ect., you do have attributes for each character, like in Super Mario 2. For example,
Tim the Flazo
Attack Strength: ***
Defensives: ***
Speed: ***
Dexterity: **
while his friends differ from him in certain fields. Another example,
Sam the Shellton
Attack Strength: **
Defensives: ****
Speed: **
Dexterity: ****
As you progress through the game, more characters join your party. Since the game uses a warp-hub system, there are, of course, differant levels. You pick the character you wanna be at the start, and until you either reach the end or get a game over, you're stuck with them for the level.
The Worlds: The game features a set of several differant worlds, like most games. You start at Teteyos Island, central island of the planet of Technolyn. Once you finish there, you sail by boat to Old Log Island. Then, you proceed to Whirl Falls. Next is Sun World, then there is Twin Gale Peak, followed by Mirra Villa, then to Pancuilli Factories, and finishing at the Highlands and Cloud Pillar. There really is no direct line in finishing the levels, as you really go all over the place. When you reach a new world, there is a new hub for you to enter which contains a set of new levels to finish, plus the boss fight. Outside the hub is a place to set sail for another destination.
