Renamed from Super Titagasman. Disclaimer: Yes, I am still working on my other ideas, like Tim the Flazo, Hackslash, and U.T.C.F.G. I'm juggling between them, so don't think their finished. --------------------- Welcome to Titagasman: T.A. Wars, a game evolving from the original Titagasman. This game, under a steady completion, should have a release before mid-May if all goes well (which it will). This game includes many more abilities and hazards than found in Titagasman: TTI. A short rundown includes: - Skull Acid Launchers - New breeds of Sluggy - 4 powerup forms - Improved level design - Quick loadtimes ---------------------- The demo is below. At the end of each week, I might post a small bit of info, but if you really want the beef, become a Platanium Plus member! If you are one, check the PPM Board for daily updates. demo link --> www.sendspace.com/file/0cmsaq

Here is the "first shot" of the game, representing the recent 180 in graphic approach for this title: The Graveyard. As you can see, there are effects never before shown in a TPI title: the ground fog is very suiting for the environment. The game will make use of this, plus many more effects, to prove Titagasman is gonna be the top 2D Indie title of 2008. Remember, you saw it first at JTForums, staright from the source.

New Update: The Special Effects As the original had emphasis on special effects, this game does too. Here's a short list of what we have planned for various levels:
Scarland Plains - Moon visible in background - Tita's house in background - falling leaves from purple trees - clouds
Oros Highway - Gas bars in sight - twinkling stars - Oros city in the background
Oros City - plenty of neon signs - ships overhead - kickable pylons
Tradian Alley - flickering lights - light rain in some parts - some of Oros City in the background.
Oros Downtown - everything from Oros City
Deserted Highway - tumbleweed going by - ground fog - stars in the sky - faint silhouttes of eons - possibilty of dust in the air
Tytanite Castle - Eon Ships overhead - hills in the background featuring view of Island 2.
If you have any ideas, you are welcome to post them. Remember, you saw it first at JTForums, staright from the source.

Boss Round: Monocle Ape! SPOILER ALERT Monocle Ape appears as the second boss of Tita Gasman: Duronyte Wars. Unlike Gordon and Robo Gordo, his boss battle is a tad more complicated (but probably a bit easier in terms of strategy). He plops down from his chambers into his specialized reading room with his signature yellow ball. You must avoid him trying to run you over with the ball, and since he comes fast, you'll need to time you attacks on him. Thrusting him while the ball is yellow will send him backwards a little, but he will continue on. When the ball turns red, he is open for another attack. This thrust will knock him off the ball and onto the ground, where you can then jump on him. He will jump up into the air, back onto his ball, and he'll move faster. Repeat this 2 times after the first hit, but beware, Skull Acid bottles may begin raining down from the roofs on the third go. Usually only one or two will appear, but becareful, because they stay on the ground. After Monocle Ape is defeated, get the new grey cloud that appears. This grants you the ability to turn into Duronyte Tita in future levels. Don't forget to explore past levels to see if you can reach new places with Duronyte Tita. Remember, you saw it first on JT Forums, the official source for Tita Gasman information.

Update: The Five Enemies In Duronyte Wars, there are 5 enemies that roam across the first 2 worlds. Ofcourse there are more, but these are the main 5 you will encounter on North Titan East and West. Sluggie: Main iconic enemy. Thrust won't kill one, but jumping on it will. Scared of light. Sardyl: Same deal with the Sluggie. Can be jumped, not thrusted. Hurgan: Electric foe encountered on a certain level. Loves to eat electricity. Vulcnuk: Firey reptilian creature which can be thrusted back, but only killed with skull acid. Zelekzisfip: Powerful foe that conducts electricity.

I have a completed list of Tita's differant forms:
Shock Tita: The prize for beating Gordon. This form is very fast with a long jump, and doesn't cause blue blocks to fall. He can power up all sorts of electric charges, and he emits bright light. Though his punch is the same as Tita's thrust, he has an extra ability: he can pull in Revlis Fruit in front of him using X. This can prove useful when a series of blocks prevents you from actually touching it.
Duronyte Tita: The second prize, gotten after Monocle Ape. Although he is quite slow and has a low jump, he can do things the other forms can't even consider trying. He can walk on spikes and kill spike topped enemies, he can sink to the bottom of water and actually walk around (as opposed to the other forms of Titan just dying), and he can block enemy-created projectiles (except the plasma shots). Usually he is only used for part of a puzzle, but he does get his own tiem to shine eventually...
Pyro Tita: Prize number three, recieved from T. Trickster. This form of Tita can burn those wicks that appear in certain levels, and isn't affect by fire. In fact, he actually gains a life if he touchs a droplet of magma. He's got better jump than Tita, but his speed is the same. Although he can incinerate small blocks of wood, bigger ones can only be destroyed by the flamethrower. His flames, however, can kill off most enemies (except for Vulknuks).
Jelly Tita: The much desired 4th prize for conquering the Titanium ANT. Jelly Tita has a number of uses, and, like Duronyte Tita, is unique from the other forms of Tita. He can squish himself into small places, split off and become two, and he can stay invincible for a second while he re-composes himself after falling from tall heights. He's a little slower than Tita, but his jump is the same. His movement is somewhat interesting, which you'll see.
Zombie Tita: The fifth and final powerup. Although it will appear infrequently, it is an absolute delight as it makes Tita completely invincible to all enemies he goes past, allowing for more in-depth exploration of levels. If you press Z while near certain enemies, you actually be able to steal a life out of them and turn them into a zombie as well, although they don't follow you around. More to come on this power as production on the game is continued...
